Friday's Favorites {5/29}
I hope you've had a fantastic week.
After a very rainy Memorial Day weekend, the sun is shining here.
It's one of my favorites this week!
I was able to participate in Andrea Mowry's Quill hat knit-a-long.
I cast on Friday with a Buckaloo View Worsted skein from my stash that was dyed with hollyhocks.
I finished the hat on Sunday.
I love that the hat is reversible. I definitely want to knit another one.
Summer Sock Camp is in full swing, I started a sock using size 0 double pointed needles.
I haven't used dpns in a long time and I am enjoying it.
The yarn is Opal sock yarn in the Van Gogh Cafe colorway.
I had cast on previously with a size 1 needle and my usual stitch count, but they were too big.
I finished reading the 5th book in the Campers & Criminals Mystery series.
I also started The Divorce by Freida McFadden on Wednesday afternoon
and finished it on Thursday afternoon. It was a wild ride.
Definitely a 5 star read.
This is a sport weight skein by Fibernymph Dye Works on the Traveler base
in the Rhinebeck....Sweater Weather? colorway.
I haven't knit a sport weight sock before, so I think I will cast it on today.
I would love to know the favorites from your week.
I hope you have a wonderful weekend.
Happy Creating,
Angela
