Monday's Makes {7/14}
I hope you had a wonderful weekend and are ready to take on the week.
I thought I would share with you how my See My Vest project is coming along.
This worsted weight yarn began as a Sweet Clover Shawl.

It was a mystery knit a long pattern by Alicia Plummer.
I really enjoyed the pattern, but for some reason I didn't finish it.
When I was going through the bin that holds my long time wips, I decided to frog it.
I wanted to make something with the yarn that I would wear this fall/winter.
That's when I found, See My Vest-Worsted by Emily Bolduan.

It is a free pattern and I am loving it.
I could see myself making this in one colorway.
Here's my progress. The shoulder pieces are done.
I can't wait to join in the round.
I am trying to decide if I want to do a split hem.
I am using my colorways in Harvest Moon, Thankful and Tannenbaum.
I really enjoyed browsing all the patterns on Ravelry.
So many different yarns can be used for this vest.
I would love to know what make you are enjoying or one you are thinking about making.
Happy Creating,
Angela
Love that vest, can't wait to see it finished. I am working on a houndstooth scarf and starting to think of Christmas projects.
ReplyDeleteI can't wait to see your scarf. Good idea to start thinking of Christmas projects. Happy Creating!
