Wednesday's WiPs & Books {12/11}

Happy Works in Progress & Books Day!

I hope you're having a wonderful week.

It is raining and unseasonably warm here and I am so thankful for it.

I love sharing all about my works in progress and what I am reading.

This month has been all about the advent socks.

The top pair are The Cozy Knitter and then the Freckled Whimsy (Merry & Bright).

So far, I am staying just a little ahead, but knitting those heel flap are coming.

The scarf is a pattern my Purl Soho called No-Purl Ribbed Scarf.

It's a free pattern.

I am on my second aran weight bare yarn skein.

I cast on 31 stitches instead of the number listed in the pattern.

I am making this one for a gift, but would love one for myself.

I just started both of these books.

{We Solve Murders by Richard Osman and Christmas Corpse by Katie Forrest}

I finished, Murder with a Hint of Peppermint by Laura M. Drake yesterday.

It is the second book in the Whisper Hollow series.

I really enjoyed it. I can't wait for the third book to be released.

I have been watching Vlogmas episodes every chance I get.

I am trying to keep up with This Little Wonderful Life, Back to Blighty, A Lovely Yarn, Sock Witchery,

The Botanical Knitter, Cocktail Hour at the Coop, Yarnmugs Podcast,

Ollie & Bella and Suburban Stitcher.

There are so many more, but I will be watching Vlogmas through January and I love it.
