Here & Now April

Loving // I am loving all the blossoms appearing around me! Spring is here!

Eating // I am eating more berries and avocado lately! I love when all the pick your own places open!  I love having fresh strawberries. I think I am going to plant some berry plants this year.

Drinking //Coffee and water. I have been adding lemon and lime to my water. It makes me more interested. I am thinking about adding cucumber and mint soon.

Feeling //Motivated!  The warmer weather and longer days always makes me feel like I can get more done.
Making //I am starting a test knit for a lovely shawl that will be called Dogwood Shawl. More details to come!
Thinking //I have been thinking about gardening. I love planting and harvesting, but lose steam when it comes to weeding. I would like to plant a few things this year and work on an herb garden.

Dreaming //I am dreaming about an afternoon reading and knitting in the sunshine!

What are you loving, eating, drinking, making, thinking and dreaming?

  1. Those blossoms are gorgeous and I think I might flavour my water with some lime and mint today too. Good luck with your garden. x

  2. There's something so delicate about such blossoms, sweet and pink. It's a great idea to grow some of your own herbs if you can. I have lots of different herbs growing and its so nice to pick them and cook with them. I love berries too and grow blueberries in pots. After a long wait, the native raspberry canes I planted a long time ago are beginning to flower. I can't wait to eat their fruit (if the birds don't get there first) as I used to pick them where they grew wild on my uncle's farm when I was young. And, an afternoon of knitting and reading, sounds just like my kind of bliss too. Meg:)

    1. I love watching the blossoms emerge. That is the way it is around here, you have to be quick to get the berries before the birds. I hope you get the raspberries! I have started my herb garden, I have some thyme growing. I am so happy!

  3. Beautiful spring blossoms Angela! So pretty. The changes in season are also motivating, I find, in various ways depending on the season.
Thanks so much for joining in!

  5. Hi Angela, nice to find your blog through the Say little hen Link-up. All the trees around here are changing colour and dropping leaves rather than blossom - but each seasonal change has its own beauty I think. I'm looking forward to embracing the hibernation of winter ahead as you move into the energising time of spring and summer.
Look forward to having a bit more of a look around your blog.
    Cheers,
    Laura

  6. Spring blossoms look and smell so good! I will miss the many fruit trees along our local walking trail when we move. Good luck with the garden - fresh berries are the best!
