The heatwave is here and it definitely feels like summer! 

There will be lots of hanging out in the pool and in front of fans since our hvac unit can't keep up.

I am thankful it does all that it can. Hoping everyone stays safe in the heat. 

When July 1st comes around I like to have a red, white and blue sock on the needles. 

This year I am using the Americana colorway by Gem State Yarns. 

It is in their sport weight base. 

I am loving sport weight socks at the moment. 

Since yarn can't travel alone, I picked up the Moody Beach mini skein set. 

I am not sure if they will become scrappy socks or be added to one or more of my blankets. 

I finished my first pair of socks for Summer Sock Camp. 

This yarn was dyed by Fibernymph Dye Works and has been in my stash. 

It is my first sport weight pair of socks and I love the fit.
