Monday's Makes {6/29}
And for fresh cast ons!
For this Monday Makes I would like to chat about vest patterns.
The ladies at Rose Opal Knits, Daphne and Erica, are hosting a
Slipping Through Summer makealong.
How fantastic is that name!
We are knitting and crocheting slipovers, vests and tanks until September 21st.
Wips are welcome and I am thankful for that.
The makealong is just the inspiration I need to finish my See My Vest Worsted.
Here's my Ravelry project page.
I have finished the body and am ready to do the collar and armhole ribbing.
I have cast on a Carraig Vest by Beata Jezek of Hedgehog Fibers.
At my first Maryland Sheep & Wool Festival, I purchased some wool from Sweitzers Fiber Mill.
It is 67% merino and 33% Ingeo Corn Fiber.
It has 156 yards per skein. I have four skeins.
I love the feel of this yarn as I am working with it.
I love this Newton-slipover pattern by Elida Virack and it is free.

The Cosy Slipover by Stephanie L uses Drops Air. I love the stripes.

I love the ruffle of the Ophelia Slipover by Cecilie Bertelsen.

Here's the bundle I made on Ravelry of a few favorite patterns I found.
Do you have a favorite vest or slipover pattern?
I would love to see it.
Happy Creating,
Angela
