Monday's Makes {12/1}

I am easing into this month with the intent to slow down and enjoy it.

I am usually so concerned with what needs to be done that by the time the holiday arrives,

I am tired and not fully present.

This year I would like to make deeper connections, do some slow stitching,

a little holiday reading, and fully embrace the wonder of the season.

I have my advent mini skein calendars ready to go.

I have two Rising Tide Fiber Co's For the Love 12 Day ten gram calendars.

I couldn't choose between For the Love of Dogs and the For the Love of Cats.

I was also eyeing a few of her For the Love Advent Sock Sets.

I really love all Melissa's themes.

This is my second year getting the 12 Day ten gram advent from Our Yarny World Designs.

I am planning to wind down in the evenings, adding the calendars from both of these dyers

I will be adding 12 more tonal mini skeins from my stash to the mix.

{I love the idea of making your own countdown calendar or swapping with someone.}

I am hoping to start my day with my Freckled Whimsy advent socks.

This year I decided to not make the cuffs before and get right to the stripes.
