Wednesday's WiPs & Books {1/8}
Happy Wednesday!
I love chatting all about works in progress and books.
It has been a week of snow days and I am loving it.
We haven't had a good snowstorm in a few years.
I wish I could say I have gotten a lot of making time,
but I have been in a 'clearing out the corners' mood and I am going with it.
I have been reading, A Fall of Marigolds by Susan Meissner.
The story and history is very interesting to me.
I started my Musselburgh hat using a one of kind skein I dyed.
I call it my Autumn Musselburgh. I am using a US2.5 (3.0 mm) needle.
The Nutcracker socks by Tiny Human Knits on the needles and
I am ready to start the heel of the first sock.
I love the color combination so much. Laura is a wonder with stripes.
On Scrappy Sunday, I cast on a DK weight Memory Blanket {Ravelry link} using my two 12 day
advent calendars and a US3 (3.25mm).
I am alternating the two calendars. The tonal colorways are by Our Yarny World Designs and the
variegated and speckle colorways are by Rising Tide Fiber Co.
I have so many blankets on the hook and needles right now.
I am going to have to make a plan to make sure they are all being worked on.
I am joining in on the Temperature Dishcloth KAL {Ravelry link},
hosted by The Kitchen Sink Shop.
I am using a combination of Knit Picks Dishie and Sugar 'n Cream.
I finished watching the first season of Reacher.
I am looking forward to starting the second season.
Six Triple Eight on Netflix was the weekend movie and it was really good.
I would love to know what you are making, reading and/or watching.
Happy Creating,
Angela
