Wednesday's WiPs & Books {8/23}
I love sharing all about my makes and what I am reading and/or watching.
I started a new project last week, An Italian Summer Scarf. {Ravelry link}
Look how tiny it is! This pattern is a free download.
I am using the recommended yarn, Sandnes Garn Line in Farge 6061.
I have noticed many garments are being made with this yarn and I wanted to give it a try before investing in a garment quantity.
I am on the gusset decreases on my Sarah Sanderson socks.
The yarn is Nomadic Yarns.
I can't wait to cast on the next one. I have all three Sanderson sister colorways.
Anyone else doing some Halloween making?
Adding a repeat on my Duotone Cowl every chance I get.
I love the meditative qualities of garter stitch in the round.
I started reading, Eligible by Curtis Sittenfeld last week.
It is a modern telling of Pride & Prejudice.
I am enjoying the characters and the setting, but am not getting pulled in like I was hoping.
So, I think I am going to start, The Little Italian Hotel by Phaedra Patrick.
I love this cover and it gives me traveling vibes.
I have been catching up on When Calls the Heart this week.
I am thinking about starting Hardy Boys on Hulu.
Are you watching anything interesting?
I am always looking for something good to watch.
I would love to hear all about your makes, reads and watches this week.
Let's Chat,
Angela
